More than 100 suspects are awaiting trial in British courts for terrorist offences - a figure unprecedented in modern criminal history - Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller, the former spy chief, has revealed.
Dame Eliza: 'They may attempt a chemical, biological, radiological or even nuclear attack'. Britain is a centre of intense plotting and faces a terrorist threat of "unprecedented scale, ambition and ruthlessness".
In a stark warning for the future, Dame Eliza added: "It remains a very real possibility that they may, sometime, somewhere attempt a chemical biological, radiological or even nuclear attack".
The more than 40 separate terror court cases due to be heard include Operation Gamble, an alleged plot to kidnap and video the beheading of a British soldier and Operation Overt, an alleged plan to blow up 10 US airliners. Only last week, Omar Altimimi, from Bolton, was jailed for nine years for terrorist-related offences. A further three men were sentenced to a total of 24 years in jail after they admitted inciting terrorist murder over the internet.

Dame Eliza, the former director-general of MI5, said the radicalisation of teenage Muslims "from first exposure, to extremism, to active participation in terrorist plotting" was now worryingly rapid. It was vital that the Government rose to the challenge of trying to change the attitudes that "lead some of our young people to become terrorists".
Dame Eliza, writing in the periodical Policing: A Journal of Policing and Practice, said that 1,700 terrorists in 200 networks, "scattered across the country" are thought to be plotting 30 attacks at any one time.
She warned of the "pressing demand" for the police to create a secret network of Muslim spies capable of improving intelligence gathering. In the article, drafted shortly before she left the service in April but published only last week, she went on: "In addition to these 200-plus networks and groupings now identified, there are sure to be others at large, which we have yet to uncover." The former spy chief also warned that "it is inevitable that some terrorist plots will escape our combined attention," adding: "Even if we have the numbers of personnel engaged in looking at our own citizens as, say, the KGB or the Stasi did during the Cold War, and with the same authoritarian powers, some things would slip under the radar." Dame Eliza, 59, now retired in the West Country after her 33 years with MI5, said it was almost inevitable that the search for terrorists within the Muslim community would lead to social tensions. But she said this "must not be allowed to deflect the police, nor the Security Services, from continuing the intelligence work which is necessary and proportionate to match the terrorist threat".
She warned of the difficulties of converting intelligence into evidence that would stand up in court. "This is rarely a straightforward endeavour," she writes. "There will continue to be occasions when we will have to act on credible threat intelligence but no charges will follow, and we will need to accept, and educate the public to accept, that this is an unavoidable consequence of the current threat." Concluding the article, she called on both the police and MI5 to develop their relationship, which she said had created a counter-terrorist organisation "unmatched anywhere in the world".
A backlog of 20,000 travellers' bags has built up following terrorist alerts at Heathrow Airport, writes Jasper Copping. Heavy rain, which delayed some flights, has also added to the luggage mountain and thousands have been forced to travel without their belongings.
British Airways said volunteers had been drafted in to help, but admitted that it could take several days to sort out.

The bombs that were constructed were indeed modeled after the specifications detailed in the al Qaeda manual presented by terrorist Dhiren BAROT, and were merely two of several other vehicles of the same (or similar) high-end types chosen specifically over other models that were to be pre-positioned and detonated during an upcoming event at or near Trafalgar Square, at a time when the anti-personnel aspects of the bombs would have been most effective. The bombs were likely to be detonated not SIMULTANEOUSLY, but in multiple waves - in a more insidious and psychologically effective fashion. Further, there could be as many as six-(6) vehicles involved in this plot, with at least 2 (or perhaps 3) of these vehicles still being sought. Also, the much-publicized entry on an Arabic language forum that referenced the bombing of London had nothing to do with the recent events. Lastly, the planning and execution of this very well-funded operation has implication for targets inside the United States. This, according to a well-placed law enforcement source from London speaking with the Northeast Intelligence Network, and substantiated by a secondary law enforcement source in the U.S.

This may be a very deadly year for Americans living in the United States.
According to Hal Lindsey of WorldNetDaily.com, Hugo Chavez, the President of Venezuela, has threatened to unleash an army of operatives already inside the United States, if the U.S. attacks Iran.
In other words, mass murder by armed gangs already in U.S. cities.
MS-13, most likely the 'army of operatives' Chavez threatened to unleash, is the most violent gang in the United States, numbering in the tens of thousands, responsible for murders across the country and the subject of congressional investigations. At one point they were reported to be in over 3,500 U.S. cities.
Approximately 70,000 more are in Central America where many receive paramilitary training, and from the sound of things, have been sneaking in by the thousands from Mexico into the United States.
MS-13 gangs have set up in many American cities, and are reported to have created a national command hierarchy, with some gang members on the East and West coast reporting directly to and paying gang dues to leaders in Central America.
Now it gets scary.
Brigitte Gabriel, the author of "Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America," tells Larry Elder of "The Larry Elder Show" (a nationally syndicated daily talk show for ABC Radio Networks):
"We have terrorists coming through our borders. Al-Qaida is working with the MS-13 gang, smuggling al-Qaida terrorists into the country. Hezbollah is doing the same... We estimate thousands have already been smuggled into America... Hamas is here..."

Which is probably why a nuclear attack on U.S. soil is now considered the number one threat by Homeland Security.

Why the interest in Chavez?
Chavez, if you recall, made threatening remarks to the United Nations back in September of 2006, predicting the fall of the 'United States Empire', and also speaking Arabic, ending his heated speech with inshallah, which means God willing.
Why is the President of Venezuela, a country in South America, speaking Arabic? Why did he predict the fall of the United States?

According to WorldNetDaily.com, Chavez has been reported by a defector to have given atleast $1 million to Al-Qaeda.
Obviously Hugo Chavez has ties to Iran, hence the threat to unleash operatives if the U.S. attacks Iran. He also has direct ties to MS-13 in Central America, with many originating from his own country, Venezuela.
WorldNetDaily.com writes, 'MS-13 has ties to Adnan El Shukrijumah, a top al-Qaida lieutenant believed to be plotting new attacks against U.S. targets. If this sounds crazy, that's because it is. Crazy. If news reports are correct, the United States is in immeninent danger of nuclear attacks and mass murder across the country.
Of course no country, especially Venezuela, wants to be linked to Al-Qaeda. The U.S. is a sitting duck for an Al-Qaeda nuclear attack because there is no country we can nuke back. Al-Qaeda doesn't have a return address.
You can bet though that a handful of countries would willingly help Al-Qaeda, as long as they can do it without being traced.

Plots against the United States may be a lot bigger than just Islam.
Two days ago Chavez met with his 'good friend' Fidel Castro, and this made world news. In fact CNN reports that Chavez is in frequent contact with Castro, who of course has been considered a long-time enemy of the United States. Coincidentally, Hugo Chavez is called Castro's protegé.
Ok, so where's the proof that there are 'plots against the U.S.'?
Well, we don't have any 'proof'. Just like in the days prior to 9/11. We didn't have any proof that 9/11 was going to occur. We knew that something was going to occur – but we didn't know what.

The Chicago Tribune quotes Cheney as saying, "The fact is that the threat to the United States now of a 9/11 occurring with a group of terrorists armed not with airline tickets and box cutters, but with a nuclear weapon in the middle of one of our own cities, is the greatest threat we face," he said. "It's a very real threat. It's something that we have to worry about and defeat every single day."
What Cheney didn't say, perhaps to prevent widespread panic, is that Bin Laden's plan isn't for one nuclear detonation in one city, it's multiple nukes in multiple cities.

U.S. 'Invasion'
Considering that there are tens of thousands of MS-13 gang members throughout the United States, and who knows how many Islamic sleeper agents – once these nukes go off, I'm sure these gangs and sleeper agents are not going to be volunteering with rescue efforts.

Red Dawn
Once Bin Laden's suitcase nukes and missile warheads are laying waste to a few key cities, MS-13 gangs will probably become involved. They may attack police stations in the suburbs and small towns across the United States, and start killing Americans by the thousands with machine guns, like AK-47s.
These attacks may include children at elementary schools and high schools, as Bin Laden has made it clear that he wants to kill atleast two million American kids.
This may be a very bloody day for America...
Parts of our country may actually fall to foreign take-over.
Smoke will rise from our nation's largest cities, where nuclear suitcase weapons and missile warheads have been detonated across the country.
MS-13 gangs and Islamic sleeper agents are likely to go on a mass killing spree. Tens of thousands of these gang members and sleeper agents will have fled major cities prior to the nukes, and will fall on unsuspecting towns and suburbs. They are an ultra-violent invasion force that is already here...
And as long as our troops are tied down in Iraq, we don't have much of a military to defend ourselves. Even with what we do have, the United States is a vast country with numerous cities and towns spread out for miles in every direction. Many lack protection.
In addition, once the nukes are going off, many reservists are unlikely to report to duty. Small town cops will find themselves vastly outnumbered, their stations probably attacked in a series of ambushes.
Children executed at their schools. Wives and daughters raped and murdered.
Many towns and cities will be on their own, left to deal head on with the tens of thousands of MS-13 gang members and Islamic sleeper agents mixed in among them who have fled the cities in the days prior to the detonation of nukes.
MS-13 Exodus
When an earthquake shook the floor beneath the Indian Ocean in December 2004, the resulting tsunamis devastated the shores of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and other countries.
In the minutes before the tsunamis hit, birds and other animals were seen fleeing the coastline, heading inland.
If you see a large number of Mexicans and Muslims moving out of our nation's largest cities, like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, and San Francisco, or if you work for the LAPD and one day notice that there are a lot less MS-13 gang members around, you might want to consider this a warning sign that Bin Laden's nukes are about to go off.

We need to protect our schools: At the elementary, high school, and college level across the nation. Military personnel should be kept highly trained for this exact scenario and close at hand, maybe even disguised as school faculty. Our children should be warned.
We have an earthquake drill, a tornado drill, and a fire drill; now it's time for a terrorist drill.
They are here to kill. They will most likely attack. But not all is lost...

Considering that there are tens of thousands of MS-13 gang members throughout the United States, and who knows how many Islamic sleeper agents – once these nukes go off, I'm sure these gangs and sleeper agents are not going to be volunteering with rescue efforts.
MSNBC.com reports that a number of MS-13 gang members have had paramilitary training in Central America. So, here we are with tens of thousands of MS-13 gang members in 48 states, a number of who have had paramilitary training – what we have is an ultra-violent invasion force that is already here.

They were already here – that was the plot to 'War of the Worlds', where we were attacked by aliens asleep in our cities, who were suddenly 'activated'. Are we in a similiar situation?

Considering that they're supposed to have nuclear weapons, this sounds more like the Book of Revelation in the Bible and the beginning of the 'End Times' – in fact, nuclear attacks on USA may actually be in Bible prophecy (see link at the bottom of this article).

Once Bin Laden's suitcase nukes and missile warheads are laying waste to a few key cities, MS-13 gangs will probably become involved. They may attack police stations in the suburbs and small towns across the United States, and start killing Americans by the thousands with machine guns, like AK-47s.
These attacks may include children at elementary schools and high schools, as Bin Laden has made it clear that he wants to kill atleast two million American kids.
This may be a very bloody day for America...
Parts of our country may actually fall to foreign take-over.
Smoke will rise from our nation's largest cities, where nuclear suitcase weapons and missile warheads have been detonated across the country.
MS-13 gangs and Islamic sleeper agents are likely to go on a mass killing spree. Tens of thousands of these gang members and sleeper agents will have fled major cities prior to the nukes, and will fall on unsuspecting towns and suburbs. They are an ultra-violent invasion force that is already here...
And as long as our troops are tied down in Iraq, we don't have much of a military to defend ourselves. Even with what we do have, the United States is a vast country with numerous cities and towns spread out for miles in every direction. Many lack protection.
In addition, once the nukes are going off, many reservists are unlikely to report to duty. Small town cops will find themselves vastly outnumbered, their stations probably attacked in a series of ambushes.
Children executed at their schools. Wives and daughters raped and murdered.
Many towns and cities will be on their own, left to deal head on with the tens of thousands of MS-13 gang members and Islamic sleeper agents mixed in among them who have fled the cities in the days prior to the detonation of nukes.

When an earthquake shook the floor beneath the Indian Ocean in December 2004, the resulting tsunamis devastated the shores of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and other countries.
In the minutes before the tsunamis hit, birds and other animals were seen fleeing the coastline, heading inland.
If you see a large number of Mexicans and Muslims moving out of our nation's largest cities, like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, and San Francisco, or if you work for the LAPD and one day notice that there are a lot less MS-13 gang members around, you might want to consider this a warning sign that Bin Laden's nukes are about to go off.

According to a book by Paul Williams, a former FBI Consultant, shortly after September 11th, word reached officials in the United States that Al Qaeda operatives were able to get at least two nuclear suitcase bombs into the United States.
And that's not even the half of it. There's also the probability - according to a former Soviet spy- that multiple nuclear bombs are already on United States soil due to efforts by the Soviets during the Cold War. And wouldn't you know it, according to WorldNetDaily, military sources suggest that Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda are paying Russian special forces (Spetznaz) to find these weapons.
Then of course there's the evidence that Al Qaeda is working with Russian and Pakistananian scientists to make their own bombs.
So, in other words, Bin Laden's boys are here and likely have multiple nuclear weapons already. Sounds terrible, especially if you live in a city with a large Jewish population. Some locations likely to be targets are New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Boston. However, for all of you from suburbia thinking that you're safe:

In fact, reports indicate that he pays these people between 30,000-50,000 dollars a pop to help him smuggle individual sleeper agents into the country.
Williams believes that currently there are thousands of Al Qaeda sleeper agents currently in the United States. Further, WorldNetDaily reports that these sleeper agents are here for an American Hiroshima.
The evidence doesn't end there, though. According to Brigitte Gabriel, author of "Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America," there are terrorists coming through our borders due to this collaboration with the MS-13 gang all the time. Unfortunately, she also indicates that "Hezbollah is doing the same. We estimate thousands have already been smuggled into America. Hamas is here. . ."

Finally- if you actually need more evidence that there is a problem with sleeper terrorist agents getting into the United States- an article at MSNBC indicates that U.S. officials are worried that the poorly controlled Tri-Border region could make it easy for terrorists to infiltrate the southern U.S. border. Further, this same story notes that the Hezbollah militia- a Shiite terrorist Muslim group founded in 1982- has set up shop in South America in the Tri-Border (a remote region divided by the borders of Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil).
In other words, it's amazing that we haven't closed our southern borders yet. Oh yeah, and there's also Hugo Chavez. . . but that's for another day.
The question? Why are all of these sleeper agents needed to set off an American Hiroshima?
The answer? When it comes to bomb detonation, they're probably not. And, unfortunately, that complicates things even further.
Keep in mind that the rest of this is pure guesswork. Conjecture, if you will. First question: why would MS-13, even with that money coming to them, decide to help terrorists? After all, we would punish them afterwards, no?
The likely answer is alarming. In all probability they plan on helping the terrorists after the bombings as well. Further, it won't take thousands of smuggled in sleeper agents to detonate nuclear bombs. Thus, there must be a plan for these sleeper agents after the bombs start going off.

Here's the thing. Most people you talk to believe that as long as they live a decent distance away from major U.S. cities they're immune to this problem. Unfortunately, they may be wrong.
Sleeper agents won't be able to do much more damage in cities because they'll have to be a decent distance away from them after the bombs go off in order to survive the initial explosions and subsequent fallout. Thus, they will probably come after the suburbs.
Further, they'll probably attack suburbs within a reasonable distance from the attack spots (as close as they can get without the threat of nuclear fallout). Why? Simply because all emergency personnel in those areas will be focused on the cities that were hit by nuclear weapons (if they weren't killed or injured in the nuclear blast).
So the suburbs just outside the fallout zone may be very susceptible. That said, places a great distance from U.S. cities that aren't even on the radar will also be prone to attack simply because of the time and effort it would take to defend them.
Therefore, people in those remote areas that would never dream to see problems may in fact be the ones that need to worry most.
Further, it's likely that the terrorists have something special planned for the pentagon. After all, they'd want to first come after our leaders (though escape plans might make that very difficult). Still, you'd have to guess that they'd want to do Bush and Cheney harm for sure.
Last, WorldNetDaily also reports that plane attacks and attacks on power plants will be avoided during the planned American Hiroshima. Why? Because bin Laden doesn't want any plane attacks to overshadow those on September 11th and feels that power plants could conceivably increase explosions from nuclear weapons on their own (if they are reached by the nuclear power).
Scary. Further, it's amazing that we haven't shut down our borders better. It's time to build a wall, to increase security, and to get ready.
Again, when our government gives us snippets on how intent these terrorists are on doing us harm, don't ignore it. In fact, you should probably multiply the danger they state.
Because that's the more likely scenario. After all, there's probably a reason why we haven't been hit by several smaller terrorist attacks.

Worries are simmering that al-Qaeda may somehow strike an American city with a nuclear weapon. Most people of course consider this unlikely; government however seems to be taking it a lot more seriously.
In fact, an expert group of government and military officials is putting together an emergency survival program which recommends the building of bomb shelters, steps to prevent panicked evacuations and – perhaps tellingly – the possible 'temporary' elimination of our civil liberties.
Also known as Martial Law.
Many experts say the possibility of al-Qaeda, or any other terrorist group, obtaining a working nuclear weapon is rather small.
Atleast, they used to say that. I guess it depends on who you talk to. Some would say it's a small possibility. Others, like our Vice-President, state it is now a 'daily threat' and now the top concern of Homeland Security.
CHICAGO TRIBUNE: Cheney: Nuclear attack on U.S cities 'very real'
Does Cheney know something we don't? Most likely.
Last month, top government and military officials and other experts – organized by a joint Stanford-Harvard enterprise called the Preventive Defense Project – quietly met in Washington for a day-long symposium to hash out a blueprint for human survival after a full-scale nuclear holocaust.
The discussion, called "The Day After," took as its basis the idea that efforts focusing on nuclear strike prevention may fail, and that the possible collapse of government rule may necessitate putting in place a contingency program.
Two men organized the non-partisan project – Stanford's William Perry, a secretary of defense during the Clinton Administration, and Harvard's Ashton Carter, a senior Defense Department official for the Clinton White House.
Project members assumed a nuclear bomb similar in size to the one which destroyed Hiroshima in World War II had detonated in a major U.S. city. While packing a wallop of around 10 to 15 kilotons, such a weapon is small – at least when compared with most Cold War-era warheads – and is a relatively simple bomb. Still, it's hardly the kind of easy-to-hide, portable weapon al-Qaeda might use...
The 41 experts discussed how the U.S. government could best respond to offset a second nuclear attack, to curtail health problems from any radioactive fallout, and to restore political rule. Project comments were made "confidential", although a few participants freely described the exchange of views to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Some responses were more colorful than others. Fred Ikle, a former Defense Department official under Ronald Reagan whose 2006 book urged attack preparation, Annihilation from Within, claimed that the government "should plan how it could restrict civil liberties and enforce...martial law in the aftermath of a nuclear attack," but also lay down guidelines for how our liberties might later be restored, according to the Chronicle.
But there's one problem with Ikle's scenario: once a government assumes absolute power, it almost never gives it back willingly.
Our new masters may continually argue that there's another big bully just around the corner who may be planning to do us ill. And since there will always be someone wishing us ill somewhere on this globe, they will always have a reason to maintain their dictatorship.
Mr. Ikle's idea that the U.S. government must immediately declare war on American freedom if we suffer an all-out nuclear attack didn't sit well with many other panel members, several said.
Some participants heatedly retorted that our freedom is our greatest protection. They said the federal government instead needs to immediately educate first responders and other citizens on maintaining proper procedure even if the government is unable to issue orders, as seems more likely.
"Your cities would empty and people would completely lose confidence in the ability of the government to protect them...you'd have nothing that resembles our current social order," answered Steve Fetter, dean of the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland. Such experts declare this is what makes publicly available information on possible attacks and contingency plans so necessary.
In fact on Sept. 11th, 2001, we had an essential breakdown of government rule. The president flew to Omaha, Nebraska, the vice-president hid in "an undisclosed location", and for hours the federal government essentially left us to our own devices.
Under attack and without direct government rule, Americans actually became more caring of others, not less. The pressing issue was not a breakdown of civil order but a lack of citizen preparation – no one knew what to do either during or after the attacks.
The information which all Americans most need for self-protection is referred to in intelligence circles as "open source intelligence" (OSINT) – pertinent information which is not classified, but is instead available to all.
And who reported in December 2006 that OSINT is "not a luxury but a necessity" for security? The U.S. Army of course – the very people Mr. Ikle will install as our masters, if only the right opportunity shows itself.

Here's the thing about people in America. We always seem to believe that disaster won't happen to us, that a nuclear bomb could never possibly be set off in our country.
Well, the poisoning of former KGB/FSB official Alexander Litvinenko should serve as a wake up call to Americans, especially when the surrounding facts are looked at.
The first question: What does Alexander Litvinenko have to do with the possibility of a nuclear weapon being detonated on American soil?
Nothing directly. Indirectly? Far too much. After all, the former KGB agent once voiced the following enlightening comments:
"When Putin spoke on the anniversary of the founding of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission (CheKa, 1917) on December twenty, he began his address to his colleagues with a reference to the way former KGB personnel had pretended to be politicians, infiltrated the leadership of the country, and seized power."
Said another way, it seems that Litvinenko was alluding to the idea that the KGB had become a powerful entity unto itself. And corruption in Russia (former Soviet Union) is something that the rest of the world, United States included, should be very concerned about.
Ayman al-Zawahiri reported to be ex-KGB
Unfortunately, Litvinenko also offered the world another rather frightening revelation while he was alive. In sum, he was the guy that fingered Ayman al-Zawahiri as a former and longtime KGB/FSB agent. And in case you weren't aware - in other words, in case you've been living in a box - Ayman al-Zawahiri is the number two man in al-Qaeda behind Osama bin-Laden.
Of course, that's just the half of it.
Before collaborating with al-Qaeda, al-Zawahiri was the second and last "emir" of Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Further, he was the leader responsible for, in essence, leading the Egyptian Islamic Jihad into al-Qaeda.
This of course makes him an enemy of America and a Muslim terrorist.
Thus, it seems that we have reports from someone in the know that the KGB (currently the FSB) is corrupt. However, the fact that this corrupt unit has ties to Ayman al-Zawahiri is perhaps a little too much to bare, considering that Osama Bin Laden is reported to be plotting nuclear attacks on U.S. cities.
Further, the news of this alliance - that al-Zawahiri might actually have friends within the Soviet secret services - is a scary proposition for all too many reasons. However, just in case you need to hear more on that Soviet corruption, read on.
Murder in a Teapot
On January 26th, ABC News reportedly published "Murder in a Teapot". In sum, this is what was reportedly said regarding Alexander Litvinenko's mysterious death (yes, the same guy that said the KGB was corrupt and fingered al-Zawahiri as a former KGB agent). Radioactive Polonium-210 was placed in a teapot and this tea made it to Litvinenko as he met with some Russian buddies of his.
Immediately makes you wonder about those friends of his, doesn't it?
In accordance with this, British officials told ABC News that Litvinenko's "murder was a state sponsored assassination orchestrated by the Russian security services." They came to this conclusion based on "forensic evidence and intelligence reports. . ."
Then, of course, there's the fact that Russian businessman Andrei Lugovoi has now been charged with the murder.
A businessman? Well, that doesn't support the whole conspiracy theory on Russian corruption, does it?
It does if the businessman was affiliated with the KGB until 1996 (ninth department of the KGB - a bodyguard unit). Though he denies the murder and having ever been in the FSB, a former employer named Badri Patarkatsishvili had the following to say.
"There is no such thing as a former KGB agent."
Does that apply to Ayman al-Zawahiri?

Our worst nightmare would be for a country with resources (like Russia) to be in cahoots with our most deadly enemies (al-Qaeda).
After all, beyond the fact that the Russians have nuclear weapons, the scientists to teach al-Qaeda how to make their own, and the manpower to help in numerous ways, there's also another thing to be concerned about.
Simply put, those damned dead drop sites.
Without going into too much detail (read the article on dirty bomb and nuclear suitcase bombs at secretsofsurvival.com for much, much more) there is a plethora of evidence supporting that during the Cold War, Soviets spies brought suitcase nuclear weapons into the United States and hid them. That's right, they hid them. Now think about it: Who would know where these might be?
Former KGB agents (again, some say that there is no such thing as former KGB agents). Guys like al-Zawahiri? Maybe, but only if he reached elite levels in the organization. However, even if he didn't, he may have ties to those that do. The terrible possibilities are endless.
So what's the answer if even an iota of all this is true? First, close the Mexican border entirely. Second, pray for Homeland Security. Third?

Last month MSNBC reported that Hezbollah militia (a Shiite Muslim group) had established a base in South America.
In case you didn't know, the Hezbollah militia is in essence backed by Iran. They also happen to have a lot of money and are really good at hating Americans in every conceivable way.
In fact, according to the MSNBC article in question, militia members, U.S. officials, and, various police agencies believe these Islamist radicals are quite willing to die in order to prove their disdain for America.
MSNBC: Hezbollah (Islamic radicals) build base in South America
This base, by the way, can be found in a remote area of South America that touches the borders of Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina. This area is known as the Tri Border; it is also known for its lawlessness.
Unfortunately, as many Americans are aware, it is far too easy to cross the Mexican border and there is no doubt that Hezbollah wants to do just that.
Enter Nicaragua
There's this small country called Nicaragua that you may have heard of. Nicaragua is located south of El Salvador and north of Panama. In other words, it's quite close to Mexico. And, of course, we know that terrorists have been getting into the United States via the Mexican border. In fact, the problem is rather well documented (just try a google search on the topic if you need proof).
So why does this matter? Well, that's easy to surmise for anyone that's been watching world news. The president of Nicaragua, Mr. Daniel Ortega, recently visited Mahmoud Ahmandinejad in Iran. In case you didn't know, Ahmandinejad is the president of Iran.

In short, these two are as thick as thieves. So that would seem to beg a relatively obvious question.
What do they have in common? Perhaps - just perhaps, mind you - a hatred for the United States? After all, think about it. Why would Iran, a country known for harboring terrorists, be meeting with Ortega - in fact going so far as to have a photographed welcoming ceremony in Iran for Ortega that made world news?
Further, does it strike anyone else as a little bit more than just a coincidence that this is happening and Hezbollah now has a base in South America? How much do you want to bet that at least part of Ortega and Ahmandinejad's agenda had something to do with getting terrorists into the United States?
Of course, even if it didn't have anything to do with this (which is, of course, nearly impossible) there's still Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. Chavez hates America and has made his disdain for George Bush clear for some time now. Think he might be convinced to help some terrorists cross into America?
Exactly.
Now here's the real question of the day. What do you think the terrorists might want to do in the United States once they get there? Newsflash: Captured Al Qaeda personnel and recovered documents have been indicating that there won't be another plane crash into a building. Oh no, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, and friends (after all, it seems that all of these terrorist groups are now in cahoots with a single minded purpose) have something bigger in store.
An American Hiroshima.
That's right, word is that they're planning on setting off nuclear weapons in the United States of America. Several of them, in fact. And to connect some of the dots even further than already is the case, here's where they might get these nuclear weapons.

Last month, the president of Iran visited North Korea. Here's what we know they have in common: North Korea has nuclear weapons and Iran wants them. Besides that, of course, both country's leaders harbor a deep hatred for the United States of America.

If you've been reading up here at secretsofsurvival.com, then you know that former Russian spies have stated on the record that the KGB had been given orders during the Cold War to find dead drop sites for weapons in the United States.
Along with this, it was noted that these sites might be used for nuclear weapons (suitcase bombs) as well. Further, there has been a mounting body of evidence that terrorist leaders have ties to former KGB members and have been in cahoots with the Russians for information on where these suitcase bombs may still be hidden in the United States.

So when looking for where the terrorists might look to detonate nuclear weapons (Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, and everyone else under the sun) unfortunately one must look to areas with significant Jewish populations. Places like New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago. . .
You get the picture.
And finally, we've all heard the rumors that the MS-13 gang and other Mexican organized crime has been helping terrorists sneak into the country from Mexico. Question is why. The answer?
Could it be because they've got a deal with terrorists to help attack the suburbs while the rest of the world is focused on the devastation caused by the nuclear weapons that were set off?
In the end, the majority of this article is guesswork. Still, these are educated guesses that common sense would seem to lead toward.

AMERICAN HIROSHIMA
AMERICAN HIROSHIMA

I recently reviewed a video titled “Last Best Chance,” starring Fred Thompson and Jon Gries. It is a dramatization of the national security predicament of a country that puts economic interests ahead of national survival, openly and unabashedly; that is to say, it examines the vulnerability of the United States to a terrorist nuclear assault. The story line is based on fact. We are told that al Qaeda has proposed a nuclear option codenamed “American Hiroshima.” Once terrorists acquire nuclear weapons there is no way to prevent their use against American cities because the U.S. government cannot close the border or inspect every crate shipped into the country. America’s economic dependence on foreign trade and open borders is effectively sacrosanct. You cannot slow trade to a crawl through inspections. You cannot stop the influx of illegal immigrants. No politician would dare oppose what businesses everywhere view as economic necessity. What I call “the primacy of economics” in America trumps national security. The argument has been made, and is unconsciously put forward every day, that we might as well be dead if we cannot keep the economic party going (i.e., the good times). An economic slump is unacceptable. A ceiling to growth is unimaginable. And yet, is continued and constant economic growth a realistic expectation? The nuclear destruction of cities and the unleashing of biological weapons may, at this juncture, be an equally realistic expectation. But few (if any) players in business or government would act on this later expectation.
Does al Qaeda have nuclear weapons? In 1999 terrorism expert Yossef Bodansky said yes. More recently, Joseph Farah and Paul Williams have claimed that intelligence sources, including military intelligence sources, say the same thing. The story consists of the following incredible details (which have undoubtedly been spoon-fed to Western and Arab intelligence agencies). What appears plausible on the surface, and is apparently believed by U.S. officials, simultaneously serves a peculiar agenda:
(1) Russian nuclear weapons are vulnerable to theft. This is because Russia has "fallen apart," and the only remedy is huge infusions of cash from the West. Therefore, America is subjected to a curious variation on “nuclear blackmail.” If America doesn’t pay Russia tens of billions of dollars to secure its nuclear weapons then American cities will not be safe from nuclear attack. Strangely, the Russians themselves suddenly (after decades of tight security) lack the will to secure their own nuclear weapons and don’t seem particularly worried that Chechen terrorists will use them on Moscow or other cities.
(2) Furthermore, the point is underscored that we backed the wrong side in the Afghan War (during the 1980s). Almost humorously, we are now shown (though not explicitly told) that we should have backed the communists instead of the Muslim rebels. We are told, over and over again, that the same folks who fought the Red Army in Afghanistan might nuke the United States. Even though we supplied the Afghan resistance, even though we fed them and gave billions in humanitarian assistance, we’re the ones at the receiving end of the nuclear terror. Muslim freedom fighters don’t want revenge on Moscow for killing over a million Afghans. Erratically, they want revenge for all the help we’ve given Muslims in Afghanistan, Kosovo, the West Bank and Gaza. (See President Bush’s so-called “roadmap to peace,” which some fear is a roadmap to civil war in Israel.)
(3) Bodansky, Williams and others have suggested that al Qaeda acquired Soviet-built nuclear weapons from Chechens who pointedly failed to reserve a bomb for themselves (i.e., to assure their own independence from Moscow).
(3) Although Russian nukes cannot be detonated without special activation codes known only to the Russian president and the chief of the Russian General Staff, the Islamists somehow have the means to detonate the "stolen" warheads. We are told that bin Laden & Co. have hired Russian nuclear specialists and Spetsnaz commandos trained in the deployment, storage and detonation of nuclear warheads. So even if we catch Russians preparing a nuclear attack on U.S. soil we are nonetheless obliged to assume that bin Laden is ultimately responsible (instead of Moscow).
(4) The motive for a nuclear attack on America involves America’s supposed responsibility for millions of Muslim deaths. And yet, there is no concern for Muslims murdered by Russia and China in Central Asia, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, etc. Also, there doesn’t appear to be an al Qaeda plan for nuking India – the main nuclear rival of militant Islam in South Asia. The geographical remoteness of America, the American liberation of Muslims from the secular dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, and America’s role as a leading customer of Muslim oil are somehow overlooked in the “hate equation” that propels al Qaeda’s nuclear plot.
(5) According to some U.S. politicians and pundits, America’s nuclear missiles must be taken off alert. This, they say, is necessary because a nuclear terror attack might be mistaken for an attack from Russia. If Russian-built nukes are detonated in American cities Russians should be the last people we suspect of foul play. In fact, the “collapse” of the Soviet Union has largely shielded us from such suspicions in the first place.
The hypnotic suggestion of 9/11 continues to be reinforced with each act of subsequent terrorism. We are fighting a “new” type of enemy. The Russians are friends while the Islamists are the new enemy. Of course, we cannot properly fight such a war (for economic reasons, and for reasons of political correctness). One must set aside, as well, George Tenet’s description of the post-Cold War purge of the KGB as “pure window dressing.” Intelligence journalists Gordon Thomas and David Dastych recently quoted an internal MI5 document as stating: “There is a strong probability that some … (KGB) agents have been recruited by al Qaeda.”
That may be so, but who actually recruited whom?
FSB (KGB) defector Alexander Litvinkenko, author of the book Blowing Up Russia: Terror From Within, has publicly said that al Qaeda’s number two man, Ayman al-Zawahiri was trained by the FSB (KGB) in Russia. In an interview with Rzeczpospolita (a Polish publication), Litvinenko stated that the “originator of the acts of terrorism in London was standing near Tony Blair.” And there, at the G8 summit, next to the British Prime Minister was former KGB Lt. Col. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. According to Litvinenko, “[there is] only one organization which has made terrorism the main tool of solving political problems.” And that organization, he said, “is the Russian special services.” The KGB trained terrorists all over the world. “The specially trained and prepared agents of the KGB,” said Litvinenko, “have organized murders and explosions, including explosions on tankers, the hijacking of passenger jets, attacks on diplomats, as well as state and commercial organizations worldwide.” Litvinenko added: “The bloodiest terrorists of the world were or are agents of the KGB-FSB. They are well known [like] Carlos Ilyich Ramiros, nicknamed ‘the Jackal,’ the late Yassir Arafat, Saddam Hussein … [and others].” According to Litvinenko, “All of them were trained by the KGB, received money from there, weapons and explosives….”
Global terrorism has, indeed, been a long-term Russian operation. In a book by Joseph Douglass, Jr. titled Red Cocaine we find a description of this long-term operation as described by a communist bloc defector (Jan Sejna): “The basic revolutionary strategy took shape in the years 1954 to 1956. As detailed by Sejna, there were five principles thrusts in the modernized [Russian] strategy.” According to Douglass, “The second step [in this strategy] was the actual training of terrorists. Training for international terrorism actually began as ‘fighters for liberation.’ The term ‘national liberation’ was coined to replace revolutionary war movement as a two-way deception: to provide a nationalistic cover for what was basically an intelligence operation and to provide a label that was semantically separated from the communist revolutionary war movement.” [Pages 10-11.]
Litvinenko is a recent defector from Russia’s special services. He is telling us that the KGB has emerged on top in Russia, and it is still following a Cold War plan. Consequently, the Chechen War was both a pretext for Putin’s dictatorship, a provocation and an alibi. Moscow says it is fighting Islamic terrorism when in fact it was the primary author of Islamic terrorism. Litvinenko asks the following rhetorical question: “Would the Russian special services train and finance people and groups that were not supervised by the Lubyanka and did not serve the interests of the Kremlin?” According to Litvinenko, “Each act of terrorism made by these people was carried out … under the rigid control of the KGB of the USSR. And it is not casual after the disintegration of the USSR….” Then Litvinenko dropped a bombshell: “The second person in the terrorist organization al Qaeda, who allegedly organized the series of explosions in London, Ayman al-Zawahiri, is an old agent of the FSB.”

I recently reviewed a video titled “Last Best Chance,” starring Fred Thompson and Jon Gries. It is a dramatization of the national security predicament of a country that puts economic interests ahead of national survival, openly and unabashedly; that is to say, it examines the vulnerability of the United States to a terrorist nuclear assault. The story line is based on fact. We are told that al Qaeda has proposed a nuclear option codenamed “American Hiroshima.” Once terrorists acquire nuclear weapons there is no way to prevent their use against American cities because the U.S. government cannot close the border or inspect every crate shipped into the country. America’s economic dependence on foreign trade and open borders is effectively sacrosanct. You cannot slow trade to a crawl through inspections. You cannot stop the influx of illegal immigrants. No politician would dare oppose what businesses everywhere view as economic necessity. What I call “the primacy of economics” in America trumps national security. The argument has been made, and is unconsciously put forward every day, that we might as well be dead if we cannot keep the economic party going (i.e., the good times). An economic slump is unacceptable. A ceiling to growth is unimaginable. And yet, is continued and constant economic growth a realistic expectation? The nuclear destruction of cities and the unleashing of biological weapons may, at this juncture, be an equally realistic expectation. But few (if any) players in business or government would act on this later expectation.
Does al Qaeda have nuclear weapons? In 1999 terrorism expert Yossef Bodansky said yes. More recently, Joseph Farah and Paul Williams have claimed that intelligence sources, including military intelligence sources, say the same thing. The story consists of the following incredible details (which have undoubtedly been spoon-fed to Western and Arab intelligence agencies). What appears plausible on the surface, and is apparently believed by U.S. officials, simultaneously serves a peculiar agenda:
(1) Russian nuclear weapons are vulnerable to theft. This is because Russia has "fallen apart," and the only remedy is huge infusions of cash from the West. Therefore, America is subjected to a curious variation on “nuclear blackmail.” If America doesn’t pay Russia tens of billions of dollars to secure its nuclear weapons then American cities will not be safe from nuclear attack. Strangely, the Russians themselves suddenly (after decades of tight security) lack the will to secure their own nuclear weapons and don’t seem particularly worried that Chechen terrorists will use them on Moscow or other cities.
(2) Furthermore, the point is underscored that we backed the wrong side in the Afghan War (during the 1980s). Almost humorously, we are now shown (though not explicitly told) that we should have backed the communists instead of the Muslim rebels. We are told, over and over again, that the same folks who fought the Red Army in Afghanistan might nuke the United States. Even though we supplied the Afghan resistance, even though we fed them and gave billions in humanitarian assistance, we’re the ones at the receiving end of the nuclear terror. Muslim freedom fighters don’t want revenge on Moscow for killing over a million Afghans. Erratically, they want revenge for all the help we’ve given Muslims in Afghanistan, Kosovo, the West Bank and Gaza. (See President Bush’s so-called “roadmap to peace,” which some fear is a roadmap to civil war in Israel.)
(3) Bodansky, Williams and others have suggested that al Qaeda acquired Soviet-built nuclear weapons from Chechens who pointedly failed to reserve a bomb for themselves (i.e., to assure their own independence from Moscow).
(3) Although Russian nukes cannot be detonated without special activation codes known only to the Russian president and the chief of the Russian General Staff, the Islamists somehow have the means to detonate the "stolen" warheads. We are told that bin Laden & Co. have hired Russian nuclear specialists and Spetsnaz commandos trained in the deployment, storage and detonation of nuclear warheads. So even if we catch Russians preparing a nuclear attack on U.S. soil we are nonetheless obliged to assume that bin Laden is ultimately responsible (instead of Moscow).
(4) The motive for a nuclear attack on America involves America’s supposed responsibility for millions of Muslim deaths. And yet, there is no concern for Muslims murdered by Russia and China in Central Asia, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, etc. Also, there doesn’t appear to be an al Qaeda plan for nuking India – the main nuclear rival of militant Islam in South Asia. The geographical remoteness of America, the American liberation of Muslims from the secular dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, and America’s role as a leading customer of Muslim oil are somehow overlooked in the “hate equation” that propels al Qaeda’s nuclear plot.
(5) According to some U.S. politicians and pundits, America’s nuclear missiles must be taken off alert. This, they say, is necessary because a nuclear terror attack might be mistaken for an attack from Russia. If Russian-built nukes are detonated in American cities Russians should be the last people we suspect of foul play. In fact, the “collapse” of the Soviet Union has largely shielded us from such suspicions in the first place.
The hypnotic suggestion of 9/11 continues to be reinforced with each act of subsequent terrorism. We are fighting a “new” type of enemy. The Russians are friends while the Islamists are the new enemy. Of course, we cannot properly fight such a war (for economic reasons, and for reasons of political correctness). One must set aside, as well, George Tenet’s description of the post-Cold War purge of the KGB as “pure window dressing.” Intelligence journalists Gordon Thomas and David Dastych recently quoted an internal MI5 document as stating: “There is a strong probability that some … (KGB) agents have been recruited by al Qaeda.”
That may be so, but who actually recruited whom?

WASHINGTON – As London recovers from the latest deadly al-Qaida attack that killed at least 50, top U.S. government officials are contemplating what they consider to be an inevitable and much bigger assault on America – one likely to kill millions, destroy the economy and fundamentally alter the course of history, reports Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
According to captured al-Qaida leaders and documents, the plan is called the "American Hiroshima" and involves the multiple detonation of nuclear weapons already smuggled into the U.S. over the Mexican border with the help of the MS-13 street gang and other organized crime groups.
Al-Qaida has obtained at least 40 nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union – including suitcase nukes, nuclear mines, artillery shells and even some missile warheads. In addition, documents captured in Afghanistan show al-Qaida had plans to assemble its own nuclear weapons with fissile material it purchased on the black market.
In addition to detonating its own nuclear weapons already planted in the U.S., military sources also say there is evidence to suggest al-Qaida is paying former Russian special forces Spetznaz to assist the terrorist group in locating nuclear weapons formerly concealed inside the U.S. by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Osama bin Laden's group is also paying nuclear scientists from Russia and Pakistan to maintain its existing nuclear arsenal and assemble additional weapons with the materials it has invested hundreds of millions in procuring over a period of 10 years.
The plans for the devastating nuclear attack on the U.S. have been under development for more than a decade. It is designed as a final deadly blow of defeat to the U.S., which is seen by al-Qaida and its allies as "the Great Satan."
At least half the nuclear weapons in the al-Qaida arsenal were obtained for cash from the Chechen terrorist allies.
But the most disturbing news is that high level U.S. officials now believe at least some of those weapons have been smuggled into the U.S. for use in the near future in major cities as part of this "American Hiroshima" plan, according to an upcoming book, "The Al Qaeda Connection: International Terrorism, Organized Crime and the Coming Apocalypse," by Paul L. Williams, a former FBI consultant.
According to Williams, former CIA Director George Tenet informed President Bush one month after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks that at least two suitcase nukes had reached al-Qaida operatives in the U.S.
"Each suitcase weighed between 50 and 80 kilograms (approximately 110 to 176 pounds) and contained enough fissionable plutonium and uranium to produce an explosive yield in excess of two kilotons," wrote Williams. "One suitcase bore the serial number 9999 and the Russian manufacturing date of 1988. The design of the weapons, Tenet told the president, is simple. The plutonium and uranium are kept in separate compartments that are linked to a triggering mechanism that can be activated by a clock or a call from the cell phone."
According to the author, the news sent Bush "through the roof," prompting him to order his national security team to give nuclear terrorism priority over every other threat to America.
However, it is worth noting that Bush failed to translate this policy into securing the U.S.-Mexico border through which the nuclear weapons and al-Qaida operatives are believed to have passed with the help of the MS-13 smugglers. He did, however, order the building of underground bunkers away from major metropolitan areas for use by federal government managers following an attack.
Bin Laden, according to Williams, has nearly unlimited funds to spend on his nuclear terrorism plan because he has remained in control of the Afghanistan-produced heroin industry. Poppy production has greatly increased even while U.S. troops are occupying the country, he writes. Al-Qaida has developed close relations with the Albanian Mafia, which assists in the smuggling and sale of heroin throughout Europe and the U.S.
Some of that money is used to pay off the notorious MS-13 street gang between $30,000 and $50,000 for each sleeper agent smuggled into the U.S. from Mexico. The sleepers are also provided with phony identification, most often bogus matricula consular ID cards indistinguishable from Mexico's official ID, now accepted in the U.S. to open bank accounts and obtain driver's licenses.
The Bush administration's unwillingness to secure the U.S.-Mexico border has puzzled and dismayed a growing number of activists and ordinary citizens who see it as the No. 1 security threat to the nation. The Minuteman organization is planning a major mobilization of thousands of Americans this fall designed to shut down the entire 2,000-mile border as it did in April with a 23-mile stretch in Arizona.
According to Williams' sources, thousands of al-Qaida sleeper agents have now been forward deployed into the U.S. to carry out their individual roles in the coming "American Hiroshima" plan.
Bin Laden's goal, according to the book, is to kill at least 4 million Americans, 2 million of whom must be children. Only then, bin Laden has said, would the crimes committed by America on the Arab and Muslim world be avenged.
There is virtually no doubt among intelligence analysts al-Qaida has obtained fully assembled nuclear weapons, according to Williams. The only question is how many. Estimates range between a dozen and 70. The breathtaking news is that an undetermined number of these weapons, including suitcase bombs, mines and crude tactical nuclear weapons, have already been smuggled into the U.S. – at least some across the U.S.-Mexico border.
The future plan, according to captured al-Qaida agents and documents, suggests the attacks will take place simultaneously in major cities throughout the country – including New York, Boston, Washington, Las Vegas, Miami, Chicago and Los Angeles.
In response to the G2 Bulletin revelations, Chris Simcox, founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, a citizen action group demanding the U.S. government take control of its borders, said an immediate military presence on the borders is now imperative "to stop the overwhelming influx of unidentified, potentially hostile and seditious persons coming across at an alarming rate."
"Terrorists have carte blanche to carry practically anything they want across our national line at this time," he said. "As ordinary citizens have warned this government for years, the only surprising part about the new information reported here is that nothing apocalyptic from Mexican-border weapons trafficking has yet happened. Terrorism has reared its ugly head in London again these past few days, and as we know all too well we are not immune in this country. At this point, the next attempt to attack America at home is just a matter of 'when,' not 'if.' And our unsecured borders have surely contributed to this threat – yet our government officials continue to fiddle while our nation's margin of security and safety burns away. The president and Congress had better wake up before they have to answer for another devastating terrorist incursion on our own soil."

The Department of Homeland Security has declassified the Inspector General's report on Northwest Flight 327 — a flight which I was a passenger on back in June of 2004. It took the US government two years and eleven months to confirm what I have been writing since the flight landed — in my 28-part series for WomensWallStreet.com and in Terror in The Skies, Why 9/11 Could Happen Again (Spence 2005) i.e:
The flight was a dry run for a future terrorist attack involving planes.
The Federal Air Marshal Service grossly mishandled what happened during the flight.

Ironic note: DHS now refers to the group as a "band" (in quotes) because the Syrians were not a band — that was their cover. DHS Declassifies Northwest Flight 327 Report

The Department of Homeland Security has declassified the Inspector General's report on Northwest Flight 327 — a flight which I was a passenger on back in June of 2004. It took the US government two years and eleven months to confirm what I have been writing since the flight landed — in my 28-part series for WomensWallStreet.com and in Terror in The Skies, Why 9/11 Could Happen Again (Spence 2005) i.e:
The flight was a dry run for a future terrorist attack involving planes.
The Federal Air Marshal Service grossly mishandled what happened during the flight.
The Syrians terrified flight crew and passengers.
The Federal Air Marshal Service grossly mismanaged what happened after the flight landed in Los Angeles.
The Federal Air Marshal Service attempted to cover up their egregious incompetence by issuing false statements and misleading the public about the severity of what happened on the flight.

Lessons Learned: Realistic Family Preparedness

19 May 2007:Having just endured a near disaster in the wild fires of southern New Jersey, as well as the prospect of a mandatory evacuation with no guarantee that the family home would still exist in the aftermath, I’ve come away from this experience with significant additional lessons learned on how to prudently plan and prepare in advance of an unforseen catastrophe. These lessons are an augmentation to those I have already put into place. I believe the application of the following plan might be a template upon which others could build a more robust family preparedness plan.
With respect to a mass-casualty or mass-destruction terrorist event, many American national authorities are clearly stating that it is not a question of “if,” but “when” such a reality visits this nation again. Similarly and with respect to any of a number of different types of natural disasters – earth, wind, water and fire - they also can occur at any time and almost without warning anywhere in the country. Following these preparatory guidelines and/or merging them with others, given the uniqueness of your own situation, will ensure the optimum chances of your family’s well-being or near-term survival at home or if evacuated to a remote location in a worst-case scenario. Following the recommendations of this special report will also go a long way relieving the unnecessary stress and tensions of last minute collecting of materials you will need to endure almost any situation.
One inherent beauty of such planning and preparation is that it invokes the most inviolate of all God-given American freedoms – the enabling right of self-determination. This planning and preparation might very likely become the critical determination as to whether or not you become just another hapless victim or a survivor.
A long-time favorite self-determination and preparedness website of mine is that of John Moore’s website http://www.thelibertyman.com. As John explains on his website, “The government cannot and will not protect individuals or families. Our government agencies are doing the best job they can to keep our country safe. However, no government agency (including FEMA) is responsible for a comprehensive defense program.” Moreover, all facets of the safety, security and well-being of your family during a disaster scenario is your personal duty and responsibility. This is absolutely not the responsibility of the “government” regardless of all that you have heard in the MSM in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Uncle Sam will show up with multiple forms of assistance in due course, but until that time arrives you need to prepare as if your lives depended on it, because they probably will.
Here are my brief and basic recommendations for before you are confronted with a “gotta go” situation:
Finance: Keep an acceptable amount of cold, hard cash, a spare debit or credit card in a convenient yet secure location in your home, vehicle or within prepared the stocks I’ll get to later. In some really extreme instances banks or ATMs may not function where you are, so the cash will be essential.
Transportation: If you own an SUV make sure it has a roof rack. If not, get one. If you have a car, the addition of a roof rack is a good idea. Also, the addition of a trailer hitch is a good idea. You don’t necessarily need a trailer for the hitch, but it is how you can attach a carry-all for other items I will identify below. As part of this area of preparation know where you can go in an emergency by identifying in advance at least three locations to evacuate to aside from public shelters. Have two filled 5-gallon auxiliary gasoline jerry cans in reserve at all times. A hand-operated siphon eliminates spillage. Always keep your vehicle in good running order.
Communications: I recommend the purchase of a Grundig FR-200 AM-FM-Shortwave radio. No batteries are required as it is powered by a simple hand crank mechanism. Have your cell phone fully charged as often as possible, and keep a spare 12VDC cigarette power adapter in your vehicle at all times. If you have a laptop computer, buy a wireless internet adapter card. Remote off-the-grid power is found in the next item below.
Portable Electrical Power: Consider purchasing one of the Xpower AC/DC powerpack modules made by Xantrex. They are small, hand-portable, rechargeable powerpacks which come with an AC/DC voltage inverter, integrated vehicle jumper cables (with fail-safe correct connection indicators), a 250 PSI air compressor with assorted nozzles, an integrated flashlight and one each 12VDC and 120VAC electrical outlets, and AC or DC recharging. I have the 400R model and find this unit to be absolutely invaluable all of the time.
When “Gotta-Go” time arrives here are items I recommend having in pre-packed, ready to load, modular containers which will go on your roof rack and/or trailer hitch carry all.
Consumable Sustenance: This is just another fancy way of saying life support essentials. Acquire non-perishable foods, dry, canned or dehydrated from your home pantry or cupboard. These supplies should be consumed and replaced with new as required. Augment this collection with the purchase of what are known today as MREs or Meals Ready To Eat. For a family of four persons a minimum of eight 12-meal cases should be accumulated. Two sources of these items I recommend are http://www.apackmeals.com and http://www.mrefoods.com. A great assortment of tasty and nutritious meals, breads, fruits and drinks, among other items, are available at very low per meal/per person costs. Also keep a minimum of 4 cases of bottled water on hand. It would be advisable to have at least one 25-quart cooler to be filled with short-term perishables pulled directly from your refrigerator/freezer and then covered with 2 or 3 bags of ice. Depending on the situation, draining the water for other uses or purification is a bonus. The ice may be replenished according to your particular situation. At the minimum your refrigerated/frozen food will not have gone to waste.
Medicines and Sanitation: Keep all medicines and medical supplies, items for personal hygiene, vitamins and dietary supplements centrally located for quick accumulation in an emergency. Store some items in a prepared container. I highly recommend acquiring from http://www.allthingsfirstaid.com a "Standard Trauma Kit." Also purchase and keep sealed in their original wrapper several tubs of “baby wipes” of generic or national brands. These little pre-moistened handy wipes are just about indispensable whether you’re in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan or somewhere in the US during an emergency. They will save gallons of precious water when used to take a ‘dry bath’. I would be remiss in not mentioning one medicinal item I would never leave home without. That would be a bottle of the virucidal-germicidal solution known as Oreganol P73 formula made by North American Herb & Spice. Oreganol contains the naturally occuring active ingredient carvacrol which kills virtually every virus known to man. Just two drops of Oreganol in your system will maintain your health against all manner of viruses. Certified medical research has proven the effectiveness of this product against Coronavirus, Type-A Influenza virus, with on-going studies reflecting positive results against HIV, HBV, HCV, herpes, Hanta and West Nile viruses, H5N1 Avian Influenza, Staphylococcus, Hepatitis, Candida. This saves space and keeps the bedding fresh until needed. The same goes for items of clothing and footware. Purchase assorted camping related items and nylon rope, axe, hatchet, chain saw and the like for this segment of preparations.
As a rule of thumb, I have determined to always be prepared for a minimum of 30 days of survival necessities for four persons. Your circumstances will dictate what you can do. For other ideas, and an excellent resource you will delve into repeatedly, I would highly recommend you get the book “What To Do ‘Til The Cavalry Comes” released a year ago by author and subject matter expert Matt Lawrence (website: http://www.mattlawrencebooks.com ). Matt’s book is a compendium of sage advice and a guide to prudent planning for any type of a given scenario such as I am urging all to immediately prepare for with this article. There is no time like the present.
What you decide to do from this point forward will determine more than just your own survival in a natural or a man-made disaster. Others are counting on you to act prudently – now.

AN IDEA FIRMLY PLANTED

In a book titled Man and Crisis, the Spanish philosopher José Ortega discussed the inner-workings of historical crisis. Through most of history, he said, the world changes gradually from generation to generation. The change is such that continuity is not disrupted. “An historical crisis,” wrote Ortega, “is a world change which differs from the normal change….” The system of convictions belonging to a previous generation “gives way to a vital state in which man remains without these convictions, and therefore without a world. Man returns to a state of not knowing what to think about the world. Therefore the change swells to a crisis and takes on the character of a catastrophe.” This is where we are today, in the United States and Europe. Look around and consider the prevailing cynicism. As Ortega noted, “One feels a profound disdain for everything, or almost everything, which was believed yesterday; but the truth is that there are no new positive beliefs with which to replace the traditional ones.” In a recent book titled Suicide of the West, authors Richard Koch and Chris Smith lament the collapse of Western optimism and positive belief. According to Koch and Smith, “Some Americans and some Europeans have betrayed or drifted away from the ideas and ideals that have made Western civilization so attractive and successful.” They further noted: “The West has gained hugely in economic unity, prosperity and military force, but declined markedly in social cohesion, moral force, certainty of purpose and mutual support and sympathy between America and Europe….” An historical crisis has begun. The old convictions have collapsed, and new ones have yet to appear.
With the end of the Cold War, America’s enemies have seemingly evaporated and new enemies have appeared. We are so confused by events, so uncertain in our interpretation, that we no longer properly identify the players or the plays. We no longer identify treason with those who advocate the defeat of their own country. We no longer identify sabotage with those who are attempting to destroy national industries (like timber, oil or agriculture). People on all sides invent their own convictions, ideologies and theologies. More often than not, these convictions merely reflect personal vanity, wishful thinking or neurotic fear. Through a gradual process, institutions are destabilized. The ground is always shifting as one ugly controversy gives way to the next. The scandal now brought forward by George Tenet, former Director of Central Intelligence, is a case in point. The public and the pundits are attracted to the sensation of a former U.S. government official blaming other government officials. What they miss entirely is the vital intelligence that Tenet off-handedly presents. Since they lack a solid foundation in what is what, in who is who, they cannot see what has remained through thick and thin; that is, the rightness of old convictions. Tenet’s book, At the Center of the Storm, touches on al Qaeda’s efforts to acquire nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union. Tenet claims that al Qaeda leaders, including Ayman al-Zawahri and Abdel al-Aziz al-Masri, negotiated for three Russian nuclear devices in the 1990s. It is curious, indeed, that Zawahri and Masri were allegedly trained by Russia. In other words, they are likely to be Russian agents, working for Russian strategists. As this column has repeatedly pointed out, Zawahri has been named as a long-time KGB agent. And the man who fingered him was poisoned with polonium-210 last November, and died.
This is very serious business, and we need to pay attention. We should not assume that al Qaeda has Russian nuclear weapons. In fact, such weapons cannot be used without state sponsorship. Nuclear weapons built in Russia require permissive action codes to detonate. President Vladimir Putin has the codes, and his top general has the codes. Therefore, Russian nuclear weapons acquired on the black market cannot be used to attack anyone, unless Moscow gives away the codes. Anyone attempting to acquire Russian nuclear weapons would know this in advance, and would realize the futility of paying good money for nothing. It is more likely, in this case, that Russian strategists want us to believe that Arab terrorists have acquired nuclear weapons. And the reason for this should not be far to find. If we dared return to our Cold War convictions, we would see that something deadly is being set up (but not as advertised). If Russia decided to initiate a war with the United States, or conduct false flag terrorist operations, the American side would tend to misidentify the source of the attack. The United States would not retaliate against the attacking country because the United States would misidentify the attacker. This would lead to further errors in terms of national deployment, overall preparedness and strategic orientation.
The fact that Americans have lost their base of conviction, their firm foundation in recognizing hostile countries like Russia and China, plays into this scenario. We have been told again and again since 9/11 that Arab terrorists are the main threat to American security. But the main threat to the United States is from those countries that seek to replace the U.S. as the world’s leading power. According to José Ortega y Gasset, “With some shame we recognize that the greater part of the things we say we do not understand very well; and if we ask ourselves why we say them, why we think them, we will observe that we say them only for this reason: that we have heard them said, that other people say them. We have never tried to rethink them on our own account, or to find the evidence for them. On the contrary, the reason we do not think about them is not that they are evident to us, but that other people say them. We have abandoned ourselves to other people and we live in a state of otherness, constantly deceiving and defrauding ourselves.”
When asked by CBS journalist Scott Pelley whether al Qaeda has nuclear weapons, Tenet said he didn’t know. But he was worried, and he added that thousands of U.S. nuclear weapons might be rendered “irrelevant” by a terrorist nuclear arsenal because terrorists aren’t state actors and you cannot retaliate against them. Imagine how cunning this is: A clandestine formation appears out of Afghanistan and makes war on the United States. It is armed with Soviet weapons but somehow unconnected to Russia. Our old concepts are gone. Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) is gone. The old Soviet enemy is gone. Or was that, in itself, another instance of saying that “we do not understand very well” something that we never “tried to rethink” on our own account? Americans never seriously thought about the collapse of the Soviet Union. We rushed to take that collapse at face value. “We have abandoned ourselves to other people,” said Ortega, “and we live in a state of otherness, constantly deceiving and defrauding ourselves.”
In October 1990 Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev was confronted by a journalist who asked about Lenin’s New Economic Policy [NEP], in which Soviet leaders deceived the West about the ultimate direction of the Soviet system in the 1920s. Gorbachev replied in a curious way, stating that “many people … failed to grasp the depth of Lenin’s design, perceiving the NEP at best as a tactical move.” It was, in fact, a strategic move. Gorbachev went on to explain that communism was not dying. It was in the process of reinventing itself. “This last is very important,” explained Ortega. “During periods of crisis, positions which are false or feigned are very common.”
Men live by conviction, or else – in the words of Ortega – they become “null and void.” Whether we like it or not, we must have convictions. Ideally, we ought to believe what is objectively true. And we should not allow our beliefs to be influenced by enemies. We cannot be so thoughtless, or drift so mindlessly, that we uncritically swallow questionable information about a future terrorist attack. This warning cannot be given enough, and should circulate throughout the United States of America and Europe. We are so accustomed to the collapse of old ideas that we look back with scorn at the mentality of the Cold War, at the mentality of Ronald Reagan. What if the Soviet Union was, indeed, a lethal threat? What if it continues, in changed form, to threaten the United States? Is this idea so strange, so bizarre, as to receive no hearing whatsoever
Let us give it a hearing, then.

With the end of the Cold War, America’s enemies have seemingly evaporated and new enemies have appeared. We are so confused by events, so uncertain in our interpretation, that we no longer properly identify the players or the plays. We no longer identify treason with those who advocate the defeat of their own country. We no longer identify sabotage with those who are attempting to destroy national industries (like timber, oil or agriculture). People on all sides invent their own convictions, ideologies and theologies. More often than not, these convictions merely reflect personal vanity, wishful thinking or neurotic fear. Through a gradual process, institutions are destabilized. The ground is always shifting as one ugly controversy gives way to the next. The scandal now brought forward by George Tenet, former Director of Central Intelligence, is a case in point. The public and the pundits are attracted to the sensation of a former U.S. government official blaming other government officials. What they miss entirely is the vital intelligence that Tenet off-handedly presents. Since they lack a solid foundation in what is what, in who is who, they cannot see what has remained through thick and thin; that is, the rightness of old convictions. Tenet’s book, At the Center of the Storm, touches on al Qaeda’s efforts to acquire nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union. Tenet claims that al Qaeda leaders, including Ayman al-Zawahri and Abdel al-Aziz al-Masri, negotiated for three Russian nuclear devices in the 1990s. It is curious, indeed, that Zawahri and Masri were allegedly trained by Russia. In other words, they are likely to be Russian agents, working for Russian strategists. As this column has repeatedly pointed out, Zawahri has been named as a long-time KGB agent. And the man who fingered him was poisoned with polonium-210 last November, and died.
This is very serious business, and we need to pay attention. We should not assume that al Qaeda has Russian nuclear weapons. In fact, such weapons cannot be used without state sponsorship. Nuclear weapons built in Russia require permissive action codes to detonate. President Vladimir Putin has the codes, and his top general has the codes. Therefore, Russian nuclear weapons acquired on the black market cannot be used to attack anyone, unless Moscow gives away the codes. Anyone attempting to acquire Russian nuclear weapons would know this in advance, and would realize the futility of paying good money for nothing. It is more likely, in this case, that Russian strategists want us to believe that Arab terrorists have acquired nuclear weapons. And the reason for this should not be far to find. If we dared return to our Cold War convictions, we would see that something deadly is being set up (but not as advertised). If Russia decided to initiate a war with the United States, or conduct false flag terrorist operations, the American side would tend to misidentify the source of the attack. The United States would not retaliate against the attacking country because the United States would misidentify the attacker. This would lead to further errors in terms of national deployment, overall preparedness and strategic orientation.
The fact that Americans have lost their base of conviction, their firm foundation in recognizing hostile countries like Russia and China, plays into this scenario. We have been told again and again since 9/11 that Arab terrorists are the main threat to American security. But the main threat to the United States is from those countries that seek to replace the U.S. as the world’s leading power. According to José Ortega y Gasset, “With some shame we recognize that the greater part of the things we say we do not understand very well; and if we ask ourselves why we say them, why we think them, we will observe that we say them only for this reason: that we have heard them said, that other people say them. We have never tried to rethink them on our own account, or to find the evidence for them. On the contrary, the reason we do not think about them is not that they are evident to us, but that other people say them. We have abandoned ourselves to other people and we live in a state of otherness, constantly deceiving and defrauding ourselves.”
When asked by CBS journalist Scott Pelley whether al Qaeda has nuclear weapons, Tenet said he didn’t know. But he was worried, and he added that thousands of U.S. nuclear weapons might be rendered “irrelevant” by a terrorist nuclear arsenal because terrorists aren’t state actors and you cannot retaliate against them. Imagine how cunning this is: A clandestine formation appears out of Afghanistan and makes war on the United States. It is armed with Soviet weapons but somehow unconnected to Russia. Our old concepts are gone. Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) is gone. The old Soviet enemy is gone. Or was that, in itself, another instance of saying that “we do not understand very well” something that we never “tried to rethink” on our own account? Americans never seriously thought about the collapse of the Soviet Union. We rushed to take that collapse at face value. “We have abandoned ourselves to other people,” said Ortega, “and we live in a state of otherness, constantly deceiving and defrauding ourselves.”
In October 1990 Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev was confronted by a journalist who asked about Lenin’s New Economic Policy [NEP], in which Soviet leaders deceived the West about the ultimate direction of the Soviet system in the 1920s. Gorbachev replied in a curious way, stating that “many people … failed to grasp the depth of Lenin’s design, perceiving the NEP at best as a tactical move.” It was, in fact, a strategic move. Gorbachev went on to explain that communism was not dying. It was in the process of reinventing itself. “This last is very important,” explained Ortega. “During periods of crisis, positions which are false or feigned are very common.”
Men live by conviction, or else – in the words of Ortega – they become “null and void.” Whether we like it or not, we must have convictions. Ideally, we ought to believe what is objectively true. And we should not allow our beliefs to be influenced by enemies. We cannot be so thoughtless, or drift so mindlessly, that we uncritically swallow questionable information about a future terrorist attack. This warning cannot be given enough, and should circulate throughout the United States of America and Europe. We are so accustomed to the collapse of old ideas that we look back with scorn at the mentality of the Cold War, at the mentality of Ronald Reagan. What if the Soviet Union was, indeed, a lethal threat? What if it continues, in changed form, to threaten the United States? Is this idea so strange, so bizarre, as to receive no hearing whatsoever
Let us give it a hearing, then.

Muslims again ordered to leave the United States, next attack imminent

Urgent news from Peshawar. The head of the Islamabad-based Al-Quds Media Center has received a message from a senior Taliban leader who calls upon all Muslims living in the United States to leave the country as soon as possible "because God's punishment will fall upon America in the month of Ramadan."
Jamal Ismail, a senior journalist at Al-Quds, received the call Thursday from Mulla Masoom Afghani. "Afghani said he was speaking from somewhere in the Kandahar province," Ismail said. "He read the message in Arabic, which I recorded. In it he advised Muslim residents of America to get out to escape harm because the United States could face big attacks in the month of Ramadan."
This is the second notice for Muslims to leave America. The first was issued to Hamid Mir, the only journalist to interview Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri in the wake of 9/11. Mir received the warning from Abu Dawood, the newly appointed commander of the al Qaeda forces in Afghanistan, who said:
Final preparations have been made for the American Hiroshima, a major attack on the U. S.
Muslims living in the United States should leave the country without further warning.
The attack will be commandeered by Adnan el Shukrijumah ("Jaffer Tayyer" or "Jafer the Pilot"), a naturalized American citizen, who was raised in Brooklyn and educated in southern Florida.
The al Qaeda operatives who will launch this attack are awaiting final orders. They remain in place in cities throughout the country. Many are masquerading as Christians and have adopted Christian names.
Al Qaeda and the Taliban will also launch a major strike (known as the "Badar offensive" against the coalition forces in Afghanistan during the holy month of Ramadan.
Mir interviewed Dawood on September 1 at the tomb of Sultan Mehmud Ghaznawi in Ghazni, about 120 kilometers south of Kabul. Dawood and the al Qaeda leaders who accompanied him were clean-shaven and dressed as Western reporters. The al Qaeda commandeer had contacted Mir by cell-phone to arrange the meeting. The contents of the encounter are as follows:
Q: How did you have my local mobile number?
A: We watched you on Geo TV walking in the mountains near Kabul with British troops. You were embedded with our enemies. We were sure that you are staying in one of the few hotels or guest houses in Kabul. We were looking for you in Serena and Intercontinental hotels, but then some Taliban friends informed us that they had your phone number and you might visit them in Zabul [an Afghani province]. We got your number from Commander [Muhsen] Khayber. [Khayber was responsible for a homicide bombing in Casablanca that killed 32 people]. Don't worry about that. We will not make any harm to you. We just want to warn you that you better don't take any rides in the tanks and humvis of the Western Forces; they are not safe for any journalist in Afghanistan.
Q: Thanks for your concern; can I know your name?
A: Yes my name is Abu Dawood, if you remember, we have already met in Kunar two years ago, but at that time I had a long beard, now I have a small one. You were there in the mountains, close to Asadaabad [a small village in the Kunar province of eastern Afghanistan] and you met some Al Qaeda fighters. I was among them.
Q: OK. I just want to say that I am a journalist, I have to speak to both sides of a conflict, for getting an objective view and that is why I was traveling with the British troops; now I am sitting with you and that is my real job. I have interviewed Osama bin Laden as well as Condoleezza Rice, General Pervez Musharraf and President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan. I hope you will appreciate my objective approach?
A: You have claimed to be objective, but you and your TV channel have always given much time to the propaganda of our enemies. Anyhow, it was our moral responsibility to warn you that you better try to avoid traveling with the British, American, Canadian, French, Spanish and Italian troops in Afghanistan, we will target all of them, we don't want that people like you suffer by our attacks, it is not good for you, and at least you should not be killed with the enemies of Islam. I am sure, brother Khayber have informed you that the Taliban will launch a big operation against the Crusader Forces, in the holy month of Ramadan; don't come to Afghanistan in Ramadan. You will see a lot of fadaee amalyat ["suicide bombings"] in coming days, Kabul will become a graveyard of NATO and ISAF.
Q: Yes Khayber told me about the "Badar operation" in Ramadan. I think you are an Afghani but you are not a Talib, are you a member of Al Qaeda?
A: You are right. But we are with the Taliban, just helping them, fighting under their command. Every Al Qaeda fighter can become a Talib, but every Talib cannot become Al Qaeda.
Q: So where is Sheikh Osama bin Laden?
A: I don't know exactly, but he is still in command of Al Qaeda, and he is in contact with his Mujaheddin all over the world.
Q: Why there was no new video statement from him, in last two years?
A: Because the CIA can feed his fresh picture to the computers fitted on their Predator planes, and these planes can get him, like Nek Muhammad or Akbar Bugti. But he has released many audio messages this year. Listen to him carefully. Don't underestimate his warnings. The Muslim Brotherhood, Nazis and Al-Qaeda

I had an unusual education in the Holocaust. When I was working for the Attorney General, I was assigned to do the classified research about the Holocaust, so I went underground to a little town called Suitland, Maryland, right outside Washington, D.C., and that's where the U.S. government buries its secrets -- literally.
There are twenty vaults underground and each vault is one acre in size. Anyone see the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark"? The last scene of that movie is what the underground vaults are really like, only not as organized as they are in the movie. And in those underground vaults I discovered something horrible.
I learned that many of the Nazis that I had been assigned to prosecute were on the CIA payroll, but the CIA didn't know they were Nazis because the British Intelligence Service had lied to them. What the British Intelligence Service didn't know was that their liar was Kim Philby, the Soviet communist double agent -- a little scandal of the Cold War. But our State Department swept it all under the rug and allowed the Nazis to stay in America until I was stupid enough to go public with it.
What do you do when you want to go public with a story like this one? You call up "60 Minutes." We had a great time. Mike Wallace gave me 30 minutes on his show. For a long time, it was the longest segment that "60 Minutes" ever did. When the episode about Nazis in America went on the air back in 1982, it caused a minor national uproar. Congress demanded hearings, Mike Wallace got the Emmy award, and my family got the death threats. It was a great trip.
Then a funny thing happened. Over the last 25 years, every retired spy in the U.S. and Canada and England all wanted me to be their lawyer, for free of course. So I had 500 clients, they paid me $1 apiece. So I am the worst paid lawyer in America, but among the better employed.
Let me give you an example. This year a friend of mine from the CIA, named Bob Baer wrote a very good book about Saudi Arabia and terrorism, it's called Sleeping with the Devil. I read the book and I got about a third of the way through and I stopped. Bob was writing how when he worked for the CIA how bad the files were.
He said, for example, the files for the Muslim Brotherhood were almost nothing. There were just a few newspaper clippings. I called Bob up and said, "Bob, that's wrong. The CIA has enormous files on the Muslim Brotherhood, volumes of them. I know because I read them a quarter of a century ago." He said, "What do you mean?"
Here's how you can find all of the missing secrets about the Muslim Brotherhood -- and you can do this, too. I said, "Bob, go to your computer and type in two words into the search part. Type the word "Banna," B-a-n-n-a. He said, "Yeah." Type in "Nazi." Bob typed the two words in, and out came 30 to 40 articles from around the world. He read them and called me back and said, "Oh my gosh, what have we done?"
What I'm doing today is doing what I'm doing now: I'm educating a new generation in the CIA that the Muslim Brotherhood was a fascist organization that was hired by Western intelligence that evolved over time into what we today know as al-Qaeda.
Here's how the story began. In the 1920s there was a young Egyptian named al Bana. And al Bana formed this nationalist group called the Muslim Brotherhood. Al Bana was a devout admirer of Adolph Hitler and wrote to him frequently. So persistent was he in his admiration of the new Nazi Party that in the 1930s, al-Bana and the Muslim Brotherhood became a secret arm of Nazi intelligence.
The Arab Nazis had much in common with the new Nazi doctrines. They hated Jews; they hated democracy; and they hated the Western culture. It became the official policy of the Third Reich to secretly develop the Muslim Brotherhood as the fifth Parliament, an army inside Egypt.
When war broke out, the Muslim Brotherhood promised in writing that they would rise up and help General Rommell and make sure that no English or American soldier was left alive in Cairo or Alexandria.
The Muslim Brotherhood began to expand in scope and influence during World War II. They even had a Palestinian section headed by the grand Mufti of Jerusalem, one of the great bigots of all time. Here, too, was a man -- The grand Mufti of Jerusalem was the Muslim Brotherhood representative for Palestine. These were undoubtedly Arab Nazis. The Grand Mufti, for example, went to Germany during the war and helped recruit an international SS division of Arab Nazis. They based it in Croatia and called it the "Handjar" Muslim Division, but it was to become the core of Hitler's new army of Arab fascists that would conquer the Arab peninsula from then on to Africa -- grand dreams.
At the end of World War II, the Muslim Brotherhood was wanted for war crimes. Their German intelligence handlers were captured in Cairo. The whole net was rolled up by the British Secret Service. Then a horrible thing happened.
Instead of prosecuting the Nazis -- the Muslim Brotherhood -- the British government hired them. They brought all the fugitive Nazi war criminals of Arab and Muslim descent into Egypt, and for three years they were trained on a special mission. The British Secret Service wanted to use the fascists of the Muslim Brotherhood to strike down the infant state of Israel in 1948. Only a few people in the Mossad know this, but many of the members of the Arab Armies and terrorist groups that tried to strangle the infant State of Israel were the Arab Nazis of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Britain was not alone. The French intelligence service cooperated by releasing the Grand Mufti and smuggling him to Egypt, so all of the Arab Nazis came together. So, from 1945 to 1948, the British Secret Service protected every Arab Nazi they could, but they failed to quash the State of Israel.
What the British did then, they sold the Arab Nazis to the predecessor of what became the CIA. It may sound stupid; it may sound evil, but it did happen. The idea was that we were going to use the Arab Nazis in the Middle East as a counterweight to the Arab communists. Just as the Soviet Union was funding Arab communists, we would fund the Arab Nazis to fight against. And lots of secret classes took place. We kept the Muslim Brotherhood on our payroll.
But the Egyptians became nervous. Nasser ordered all of the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egypt or be imprisoned, and we would execute them all. During the 1950's, the CIA evacuated the Nazis of the Muslim Brotherhood to Saudi Arabia. Now when they arrived in Saudi Arabia, some of the leading lights of the Muslim Brotherhood like Azzam, became the teachers in the Madrasas, the religious schools. And there they combined the doctrines of Nazism with this weird Islamic cult, Wahhabiism.
Everyone thinks that Islam is this fanatical religion, but it is not. They think that Islam -- the Saudi version of Islam -- is typical, but it's not. The Wahhabi cult was condemned as a heresy more than 60 times by the Muslim nations. But when the Saudis got wealthy, they bought a lot of silence. This is a very harsh cult. The Wahhabiism was only practiced by two nations, the Taliban and Saudi Arabia. That's how extreme it is. It really has nothing to do with Islam. Islam is a very peaceful and tolerant religion. It has always had good relationships with the Jews for the first thousand years of its existence.
For the Saudis, there was a ruler in charge of Saudi Arabia, and they were the new home of the Muslim Brotherhood, and fascism and extremism were mingled in these schools. And there was a young student who paid attention - - and Azzam's student was named Osama Bin Ladin. Osama Bin Ladin was taught by the Nazis of the Muslim Brotherhood who had emigrated to Saudi Arabia.
In 1979 the CIA decided to take the Arab Nazis out of cold storage. The Russians had invaded Afghanistan, so we told the Saudis that we would fund them if they would bring all of the Arab Nazis together and ship them off to Afghanistan to fight the Russians. We had to rename them. We couldn't call them the Muslim Brotherhood because that was too sensitive a name. Its Nazi cast was too known. So we called them the Maktab al Khidimat il Mujahideen, the MAK.
And the CIA lied to Congress and said they didn't know who was on the payroll in Afghanistan, except the Saudis. But it was not true. A small section CIA knew perfectly well that we had once again hired the Arab Nazis and that we were using them to fight our secret wars.
Azzam and his assistant, Osama Bin Ladin, rose to some prominence from 1979 to '89, and they won the war. They drove the Russians out of Afghanistan. Our CIA said, "We won, let's go home!" and we left this army of Arab fascists in the field of Afghanistan.
Saudis didn't want to come back. Saudis started paying bribes to Osama Bin Ladin and his followers to stay out of Saudi Arabia. Now the MAK split in half. Azzam was mysteriously assassinated apparently by Osama Bin Ladin himself. The radical group -- the most radical of the merge of the Arab fascists and religious extremists -- Osama called that al Qaeda. But to this day there are branches of the Muslim Brotherhood all through al Qaeda.
Osama Bin Ladin's second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, came from the Egyptian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, the results of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
There are many flavors and branches, but they are all Muslim Brotherhoods. There is one in Israel. The organization you know as "Hammas" is actually a secret chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood. When Israel assassinated Sheik Yassin a month ago, the Muslim Brotherhood published his obituary in a Cairo newspaper in Arabic and revealed that he was actually the secret leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza.
So the Muslim Brotherhood became this poison that spread throughout the Middle East and on 9/11, it began to spread around the world.
I know this sounds like some sort of a sick fantasy, but go to your computer and type in the words "Banna," B-a-n-n-a and the word "Nazi," N-a-z-i, and you will see all of the articles come up. Those are all the pieces of information that the CIA was trying to hide from its employees. It did not want them to know the awful past. So, in 1984, when I was exposing European Nazis on the CIA payroll, at the same time they were trying to hide from Congress the fact that they had Arab Nazis back on the payroll to fight the Russians -- a stupid and corrupt program.
So, when Bob Baer studied his files, he was just stunned. A whole generation: the current CIA people know nothing about this. And believe me, the current generation CIA are good and decent Americans and I like them a lot. They're trying to do a good job, but part of their problem is their files have been shredded. All of these secrets have to come out.
So, of course, my clients in the intelligence community said, "Well, what are you doing?" They gave me an example. They said, "Here's how the Saudis finance these groups. The Saudis have established a group of charities on a street in Virginia. It's 555 Grove St., Herndon, Virginia." So I said, "OK the Saudis are terrorists, so what?" These charities fund Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda. The Saudis are getting tax deductions for terrorism. They have set up front groups so all the terrorists groups in the U.S. and the front groups get the Saudi money as a charitable donation.
I said, "You're kidding me." Nope. And they told me that right near where I lived in Tampa, Florida was one of the leading terrorists in the world. There were these two professors at the University of South Florida. One had just left -- and he was now in Syria -- and he was the world head of Islamic Jihad. His number two, the head of Islamic Jihad in the Western Hemisphere, was Dr. Sami al-Arian, who is still employed as a professor at the University of South Florida. You've got to be kidding. This can't be true.
Yes, these guys are raising money all across America and shipping it to Syria to go down to Palestine, the Palestinian areas, and hire suicide bombers to kill Jews. They sent me the videotapes. There was Professor al-Arian on stage and one of his friends gets up and says, "Now, who will give me $500 to kill a Jew? There are people standing by in Jerusalem who will go out in the street and stab a Jew with a knife, but we need $500." And he said, "All of this money will go to the Islamic committee for Palestine." And that is the front group in the United States for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
So I had all my friends in the FBI and CIA send in these files. I said, "Why haven't you prosecuted this guy? You've known about him since 1989." "We'd love to. We've tried to prosecute him but we were told we couldn't touch him because he gets all of his money from the Saudis, and we are all under orders not to do anything to embarrass the Saudi government."
I said, "I don't mind embarrassing them." You know what I did? I donated money to the charity that was the terrorist fund, because under Florida law, that gave me the right to sue the charity to find out where my money was going. It was hilarious.
In early March, 2002, I drafted a long lawsuit exposing Professor Sami al-Arian, naming all the crimes he'd committed, all the bombings in Israel, the fundraising in America with terrorism. I mentioned how his money got to him from the Saudis and how the Saudis had convinced our government not to prosecute him for political reasons. Because of my high-level security clearances, everything I write is sort of classified material and has to be sent back to the government before publication, for censorship. So I sent my long lawsuit complaint to the CIA, and they loved it. They said, "Oh, great. We don't like the Saudis either. Go sue them."
Three days later two FBI Agents showed up at my door, saying, "You know, there are only 21 people in the U.S. government that knew some of this information, and now you're 22. How did you find out?" I said, "I'm sorry, I can't tell you, attorney-client privilege." That's why my clients pay me $1.00 each.
The day before I went to file the lawsuit, I got a frantic phone call from the United States Department of Justice. They said, "John, please don't file the lawsuit tomorrow. We really are going to raid these Saudi charities. We're going to close them down. Just give us more time." "Oh yeah, you're going to raid them. That's what you told me in January - - and again in February, and now it's March. You want more time? I'll give you until 4:00 o'clock tomorrow. I'm filing my complaint at 10:00 a.m., so that at 4:00 p.m., I'm going to release the address of the Saudi charities. Back tomorrow. I filed my lawsuit at 10:00 o'clock, and told the press I was going to hold something back for a little bit.
At 10:15, the U.S. government launched Operation Greenquest, a massive raid on all the Saudi charities in homes and businesses, and in one hour we shut down the entire Saudi money-laundering network in America.
From March 20, 2002 to the present, the government has found more and more evidence seized in those archives on that single raid that day. The evidence was so compelling that Professor al-Arian is no longer giving his speeches. He is now in federal prison awaiting trial. His accomplice, Hammoudeh, has also been indicted. Some 32 different people have been indicted in the United States as a direct result of these efforts.
But not the Saudis -- not the Saudis.
A month after I filed my lawsuit against al-Arian, I did it: I caused some trouble. I invited some 40 of the top trial lawyers in America to come down to St. Petersburg, Florida. Boy, did I have a deal for them. I wanted them to put up millions of dollars of their own money -- I'm poor, I had no money to give them -- but I wanted to do something for America.
These are lawyers like Ron Motley that had won billions of dollars in their lawsuits against the tobacco industry and the asbestos industry. I said, "What I want you to do is look at the evidence I've collected. It's the same Saudi banks and charities that funded Sami al-Arian that also funded al Qaeda." I said, "I want you to bring a class action in Federal Court in Washington on behalf of everyone who died on Sept. 11th. I'm going to work for free and collect all the evidence, introduce you to the experts, provide all the exhibits and documents . . . and we have to do this for America."
The lawyers studied all the documents I collected, and on August 15, 2002, they filed the largest class-action lawsuit in American history in the Federal District Court in Washington D.C., asking for one trillion dollars damages against the Saudis. The lawsuit said essentially that all these Saudi banks had one thing in common. They were bribing Osama bin Ladin 300 million dollars a year to stay out of Saudi Arabia and go blow up someone else.
Well, on 9/11, we found out we were someone else, and the Saudis had to pay for their negligence. So that lawsuit is coming along very well.
And more and more people in the CIA and FBI are sort of using me as a back channel to get our information. So, believe it or not, they've actually given me my own TV show now on Sunday mornings on FOX TV nationwide. I'm on at 11:20 eastern standard time. And ABC Radio has given me a national radio program, but I'm on at 10:30 at night and it's past your bedtime.
What I've become in my old age is a teacher. Twenty-five years ago I was a lot younger, a lot thinner, but now every day I get 500 to 1,000 e-mails from honest men and women around the world from the intelligence community.
And we have to end the evil in this world. We have to recognize that al Qaeda simply didn't spring up on its own. The evil route was Nazism. The al Qaeda Doctrine is the same as the Arab Nazis held. They hated Jews, they hate democracy, and they hate Westerners for Western culture. Al Qaeda is nothing more than the religious expression of Arab Fascism. We allowed this branch of the Nazi trunk to survive, to flourish, and it has come back to haunt us.
We must do a better job. Look at these children. They are our legacy. If we are to keep our children safe, we must teach them the lessons of the past. Every generation should know what these candles mean. Not only that one of the greatest tragedies in the history of the world really happened, but the evil that caused it -- Nazism -- survived because we didn't fight hard enough. We didn't finish the job.
But we must tell our children that in every generation the men and women of America have stood side by side with our Jewish, Christian, and Moslem brothers. We have risen up together against hatred. America is united now.
We will win the war on terror, and we will finish the job that these soldiers and survivors started more than a half-century ago. We must set the standard that to teach a child to hate is the worst form of child abuse. We must work together to end racism in our children's lifetime. We must teach our children to remember the Holocaust and be proud, so proud of those who survived and inspired us with their courage. In their name, in their honor, let us go forward and fight together.

I had an unusual education in the Holocaust. Yes, these guys are raising money all across America and shipping it to Syria to go down to Palestine, the Palestinian areas, and hire suicide bombers to kill Jews. They sent me the videotapes. There was Professor al-Arian on stage and one of his friends gets up and says, "Now, who will give me $500 to kill a Jew? There are people standing by in Jerusalem who will go out in the street and stab a Jew with a knife, but we need $500." And he said, "All of this money will go to the Islamic committee for Palestine." And that is the front group in the United States for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
So I had all my friends in the FBI and CIA send in these files. I said, "Why haven't you prosecuted this guy? You've known about him since 1989." "We'd love to. We've tried to prosecute him but we were told we couldn't touch him because he gets all of his money from the Saudis, and we are all under orders not to do anything to embarrass the Saudi government."
I said, "I don't mind embarrassing them." You know what I did? I donated money to the charity that was the terrorist fund, because under Florida law, that gave me the right to sue the charity to find out where my money was going. It was hilarious.
In early March, 2002, I drafted a long lawsuit exposing Professor Sami al-Arian, naming all the crimes he'd committed, all the bombings in Israel, the fundraising in America with terrorism. I mentioned how his money got to him from the Saudis and how the Saudis had convinced our government not to prosecute him for political reasons. Because of my high-level security clearances, everything I write is sort of classified material and has to be sent back to the government before publication, for censorship. So I sent my long lawsuit complaint to the CIA, and they loved it. They said, "Oh, great. We don't like the Saudis either. Go sue them."
Three days later two FBI Agents showed up at my door, saying, "You know, there are only 21 people in the U.S. government that knew some of this information, and now you're 22. How did you find out?" I said, "I'm sorry, I can't tell you, attorney-client privilege." That's why my clients pay me $1.00 each.
The day before I went to file the lawsuit, I got a frantic phone call from the United States Department of Justice. They said, "John, please don't file the lawsuit tomorrow. We really are going to raid these Saudi charities. We're going to close them down. Just give us more time." "Oh yeah, you're going to raid them. That's what you told me in January - - and again in February, and now it's March. You want more time? I'll give you until 4:00 o'clock tomorrow. I'm filing my complaint at 10:00 a.m., so that at 4:00 p.m., I'm going to release the address of the Saudi charities. Back tomorrow. I filed my lawsuit at 10:00 o'clock, and told the press I was going to hold something back for a little bit.
At 10:15, the U.S. government launched Operation Greenquest, a massive raid on all the Saudi charities in homes and businesses, and in one hour we shut down the entire Saudi money-laundering network in America.
From March 20, 2002 to the present, the government has found more and more evidence seized in those archives on that single raid that day. The evidence was so compelling that Professor al-Arian is no longer giving his speeches. He is now in federal prison awaiting trial. His accomplice, Hammoudeh, has also been indicted. Some 32 different people have been indicted in the United States as a direct result of these efforts.
But not the Saudis -- not the Saudis.
A month after I filed my lawsuit against al-Arian, I did it: I caused some trouble. I invited some 40 of the top trial lawyers in America to come down to St. Petersburg, Florida. Boy, did I have a deal for them. I wanted them to put up millions of dollars of their own money -- I'm poor, I had no money to give them -- but I wanted to do something for America.
These are lawyers like Ron Motley that had won billions of dollars in their lawsuits against the tobacco industry and the asbestos industry. I said, "What I want you to do is look at the evidence I've collected. It's the same Saudi banks and charities that funded Sami al-Arian that also funded al Qaeda." I said, "I want you to bring a class action in Federal Court in Washington on behalf of everyone who died on Sept. 11th. I'm going to work for free and collect all the evidence, introduce you to the experts, provide all the exhibits and documents . . . and we have to do this for America."
The lawyers studied all the documents I collected, and on August 15, 2002, they filed the largest class-action lawsuit in American history in the Federal District Court in Washington D.C., asking for one trillion dollars damages against the Saudis. The lawsuit said essentially that all these Saudi banks had one thing in common. They were bribing Osama bin Ladin 300 million dollars a year to stay out of Saudi Arabia and go blow up someone else.
Well, on 9/11, we found out we were someone else, and the Saudis had to pay for their negligence. So that lawsuit is coming along very well.
And more and more people in the CIA and FBI are sort of using me as a back channel to get our information. So, believe it or not, they've actually given me my own TV show now on Sunday mornings on FOX TV nationwide. I'm on at 11:20 eastern standard time. And ABC Radio has given me a national radio program, but I'm on at 10:30 at night and it's past your bedtime.
What I've become in my old age is a teacher. Twenty-five years ago I was a lot younger, a lot thinner, but now every day I get 500 to 1,000 e-mails from honest men and women around the world from the intelligence community.
And we have to end the evil in this world. We have to recognize that al Qaeda simply didn't spring up on its own. The evil route was Nazism. The al Qaeda Doctrine is the same as the Arab Nazis held. They hated Jews, they hate democracy, and they hate Westerners for Western culture. Al Qaeda is nothing more than the religious expression of Arab Fascism. We allowed this branch of the Nazi trunk to survive, to flourish, and it has come back to haunt us.
We must do a better job. Look at these children. They are our legacy. If we are to keep our children safe, we must teach them the lessons of the past. Every generation should know what these candles mean. Not only that one of the greatest tragedies in the history of the world really happened, but the evil that caused it -- Nazism -- survived because we didn't fight hard enough. We didn't finish the job.
But we must tell our children that in every generation the men and women of America have stood side by side with our Jewish, Christian, and Moslem brothers. We have risen up together against hatred. America is united now.
We will win the war on terror, and we will finish the job that these soldiers and survivors started more than a half-century ago. We must set the standard that to teach a child to hate is the worst form of child abuse. We must work together to end racism in our children's lifetime. We must teach our children to remember the Holocaust and be proud, so proud of those who survived and inspired us with their courage. In their name, in their honor, let us go forward and fight together.
NEVER AGAIN.
